Well-known beekeeper Bill Turnbull is giving a talk during the Canterbury Festival, in Canterbury Cathedral Lodge on Thursday 20 October 2011 at 5:30 PM.
BBC Breakfast presenter and contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, Bill is also the UK’s “leading ambassador” for bees, according to the blurb. I thought that was Martha Kearney, but no matter. See the festival website for more details. If there’s enough interest perhaps we could do a block booking?

A few members of CBKA will be attending the Brogdale Cherry Festival this weekend 9-10 July, selling locally produced honey. Please come and support us! The festival is on 10am-5pm. Follow this link for more details.
