					1 Asian Hornet Coordinator Meeting Asian Hornet Coordinator Meeting Starts: 10:30 am Ends: Saturday, March 1, 2025 - 12:30 pm Location: Robertsbridge Village Hall, 11-23 Station Rd, Robertsbridge TN32 5DG, UK Description: I am pleased to announce this meeting, kindly hosted by Sussex BKA, with invitations to chairpersons and AHAT coordinators from the following beekeeping groups in the area West Sussex BKA & all its branches Sussex BKA & all its branches Kent BKA & all its branches Laddingford, Thanet, Dover & Medway BKAs The purpose of the meeting is to explain, to the AH coordinators in the South East region, the new release of the AH monitoring App that will be launched at this meeting. The app based around the eR2 system will have a number of new features including 'One click' recording of monitoring for those placing stations A facility for coordinators to send a simple email to their monitors Introduce the concept of sub coordinators to allow none beekeepers to participate and recording their monitoring activity New 'in app' based help These features are as a result of the feedback received from the initial trials held in Autumn last year. The app will continue to integrate with the FERA app that the bee inspectors use, to provide evidence to the government of the vital monitoring that beekeepers are doing in the fight against the YLH. 3	4	5 branch meeting - guest speaker Margaret Murdin branch meeting - guest speaker Margaret Murdin Starts: 7:30 pm Ends: Wednesday, March 5, 2025 - 9:30 pm Location: Littlebourne War Memorial Hall, High St, Littlebourne, Canterbury CT3 1ST, UK Description: The Drone Guest speaker Margaret Murdin (Margaret is a Master Beekeeper and holds the National Diploma in Beekeeping. She enjoys teaching all levels of beekeeping and gives talks and workshops all over the UK. She holds a degree in biological sciences and was principal of a Further and Higher Education College before retirement.
